TWO POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS IN STRUCTURAL BIOLOGY
The structural biology group of Professor Dagmar Ringe and Professor Gregory A. Petsko at Brandeis University has two postdoctoral positions available. Brandeis is located about seven miles from downtown Boston, Massachusetts. We are interested primarily in candidates with protein crystallographic experience but will consider applicants who want to learn the method. We welcome applications from couples, but in that case it is important that at least one of the pair have prior experience in protein crystallography. Our group uses a wide variety of techniques, including time-resolved crystallography, to study problems ranging from the structural basis for the catalytic power of enzymes to the control of virulence gene transcription in pathogenic bacteria by metal ions to the biology of stationary phase.
